Ciao a tutti! Today on the blog: Perfect macarons made in Tuscany. Where – in Poggibonsi in a very busy Cup cake studio – “Opera waiting-100% nature”, run by a couple of friends of mine, also husband and wife Gabriele Ciacci and Elisa Polvani. Together we’ve got inspired by mainly Tuscan flavors and have created some savory and sweet macarons, using the Italian meringue method ( of course). Here is what we came up with – some fresh ideas to help you integrate macarons in your wedding reception in Italy and more importantly, where you actually can order these Macarons, ( and more goodies ) made exclusively for your event in Tuscany.
1) Savory macarons
Macarons allo zafferano di San Gimignano – San Gimignano saffron flavor macaronMacarons al pistacchio con crema di mortadella e aceto balsamico – pistachio macaron with mortadella and balsamic vinegar cream
Macarons al salmone con crema di salmone e mascarpone – salmon macaron with smoked salmon and mascarpone cream
Macarons al pepe di Szechuan con crema di noci e gorgonzola – Szechuan pepe macaron with walnuts and gorgonzola cream ( the third one in the row )2) Sweet macaronsPerfect and colorful macarons will make a great wedding, birthday or just because <3 favors, sweet macarons that we just adore are raspberry flavor, citrus flavor, pink peppercorn flavor, vanilla and chocolate. If you’d like to create your own flavor palette, just get in contact with me here and we’ll be happy to help you. I also made these small wedding favor boxes, which are quite easy to make at home with a bit of patience and precision!
3) Macarons as Delicious place cardsSavory or sweet macarons will make a very yummy place card holders for all of your guest at your wedding reception or any event. I personally would go for a savory macaron and start the meal off on the delirious note!!
